Contacts during the state of emergency

Overview of how to communicate with the Dean’s offices and other administrative offices during the state of emergency.

DEAN’S OFFICE: FACULTY OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY

The Dean's Office is limiting its operations to a necessary minimum. Students and employees are requested to handle their affairs primarily electronically or by telephone with the appropriate officer:

Emergency hours:

  • Monday: 9:00 - 12:00
  • Wednesday: 9:00 - 12:00

DEAN’S OFFICE: FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY

The office hours are cancelled. We are available by phone (redirected to a mobile phone as necessary) or email:

DEAN’S OFFICE: FACULTY OF FOOD AND BIOCHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY 

The operation of this faculty’s Dean's Office will be as follows during the state of emergency:

  • Office hours are cancelled
  • All Dean’s staff (Dean and Vice-Deans) will handle all matters electronically via UCT Prague email.
  • If necessary, you can call the Dean of the faculty: Prof. Ing. Jan Masák, CSc. +420606201570 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
  • A personal meeting must be agreed to in advance by email or phone.

 

DEAN’S OFFICE: FACULTY OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

  • The operation of this faculty’s Dean's Office during the state of emergency is as follows:
  • Office hours are cancelled
  • All Dean’s staff (Dean, Secretary, and Vice-Deans) will handle all matters electronically via UCT Prague email.
  • If necessary, you can call the Dean of the faculty: Prof. Ing. Michal Přibyl +420604628712 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
  • A personal meeting must be agreed to in advance by email or phone.

  

DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

Opening hours of the Foreign Office are cancelled. Urgent personal meetings and handover of documents for administrative matters: Mondays and Wednesdays 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., always and only by prior phone appointment: +420 220 44 4456.

All international relations staff are handling their work electronically: zahranici@vscht.cz (international students and employees, please use the address you’re already familiar with: international@vscht.cz)

Head of Department Filip Faltejsek is also available by phone at +420 220 44 4456 (calls are forwarded to a mobile phone)

ChemJets a foreign employee can contact Ing. Mittnerová by phone +420 603 985 164.

If necessary, you can always contact the Vice-Rector for External Relations and Communication (pavel.kotrba@vscht.cz, +420 733 690 713)

DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION 

Basic operation of the department is ensured every working day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but visits are possible only upon prior phone/email agreement.

All employees are working using their UCT Prague emails - overview HERE.

TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICE

Until at least until March 20, Ing. Julie Levková is absent. Contact is possible by email or phone: + 420 603 270 397. Personal meetings are possible only upon previous agreement.

 

RECTOR´S OFFICE

The operation of the Rector´s Office will be as follows during the state of emergency:

  • The office hours for Rector´s Office for receiving and issuing written documents will be Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 3. p.m (if necessary by telephone or e-mail agreement).
  • A personal meeting must be agreed to in advance by email or phone.

 

COMPUTER CENTER

  • The copy center is closed - so far until and of this week.
  • The university card center is restricted on one hour in two days a week. The center will be open on 19. 3., 23. 3., 26. 3., 31. 3., 1. 4. at 12:30 - 13:30.
  • Helpdesk is still available (8-16).
