Summary

Usual methods and procedures used in water analysis are practised with model or real water samples. Determination and interpretation of calibration curve is fundamental step in the spectrometric analysis. Standardization and choice of titration solutions is necessary for titrimetric methods. Sample pretreatment, steps of procedures, calculation of results are practised. Interpretation of results and certificate preparation form integral part of the laboratory work.

1. Safety and protection of health at work. Submission of project.
2. Titrations methods. Chloride.
3. Preparation of calibration.
4. Carbon dioxide. Determination and interpretation of results. Calcium and magnesium.
5. Spectrometric determination ammonia, nitrite, phosphorus and silica.
6. Ion dissolved matter, sulphate and nitrate.
7. CODMn. Iron and manganese.
8. Individual project. Short inorganic analysis of sample of drinking water.
9. Oxygen and chlorine.
10. COD, BOD, TOC.
11. Total nitrogen and phosphorus.
12. Cyanide.
13. Interpretation of analytical results. Knowledge test.
14. Classification of project.
