Study Materials

Basic information about each course and the corresponding study materials can be found in SIS, in the so-called course syllabus. The syllabus includes:

  • course content and objectives,
  • recommended literature,
  •  weekly hours and workload,
  • ECTS credit value,
  • teaching method (lecture, seminar, etc.),
  • and assessment method (exam, test, etc.).

During the first class at the beginning of the semester, the instructor usually provides all necessary information about the course, including the most up-to-date study materials. In many cases, they also recommend useful websites (or you can ask them for tips).

Tip: Before you start studying, check that your study materials match the scope of the course as described in the syllabus. If not, consult the materials listed in SIS or the e-learning platform to make sure you have the most recent edition.
